- Mike Carter Review added: 2018.09.25★ ★ ★ ★ ★OK, imagine the picture, last Saturday before Christmas, got there just after the shop had shut. Wanted a cockerel for a friend for Christmas dinner, they got opened up for us, just for one bird. Great service.
Top quality poultry, great beef burgers, the Haslet is to die for, they do lovely venison, pork pies are good too.
The poultry though is top league, Turkeys that make the ones from a certain Norfolk provider seem very third rate, succulent ducks and geese, such geese, the very essence of Christmas, such golden skins. Just trust me this is poultry like no other butcher has. Always has been great quality so buy from here! Good value, great produce!
